I’m cleaning out my shop and I found a roll of nylon that was almost finished. I didn’t make sense to have the whole roll kicking around that only had enough nylon for about 10 crackers, so I made the crackers.
Crackers are something that it always feels like I’m out, so it’s probably a good thing to have some kicking around.
It’s been a very busy few weeks for me between performing and making sure orders get shipped out quickly I haven’t had time to update this blog as much as I’d like. A couple days ago I had a run on crackers and whip holders, so I spent yesterday making them and shipping them out, in addition to all the other plaiting work.
You still have a few days to order anything IN STOCK (whips, crackers, DVD’s etc) if you want it to arrive by Christmas (for delivery in the USA). Orders placed by 9 am (pacific time) on 12/20/12 will ship via USPS priority mail and should arrive my 12/25/12.
I also got almost enough kangaroo for a plaiting project I’m working on:
Initially I thought these five skins would be enough kangaroo for 55 feet of 8 plait, but I think I’m going to need at least one more skin (probably two). I just ordered a couple more skins just in case. It would be enough, but with this project being eight plait, I have wider strands and can’t use as much of the middles of the skins.
